The event is held on December 7th, 2025, begins at 11:00 and continues even in light rain, reflecting its grassroots community spirit. Participants can join in the cooperative mochi-making process, learn about the tradition from neighborhood members, and experience a relaxed
cross-cultural atmosphere. The setting at Ashii-ike Ground, near Minamisemba Kaikan, provides an intimate backdrop typical
of Japan’s small neighborhood gatherings.
